Indications: | Lincomycin hydrochloride is a broad-spectrum antibiotic, mainly used to treat infections caused by Gram-positive bacteria (such as streptococci, staphylococci, pneumococci) and some anaerobic bacteria that are sensitive to lincomycin. Pharmacological action: | Lincomycin is a macrolide antibiotic that exerts its antibacterial effect by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis. It mainly acts on the 50S ribosomal subunit of sensitive bacteria, thereby inhibiting bacterial growth and reproduction. |
Usage and Dosage: | The dosage for adults and children should be determined according to the type and severity of the infection. The conventional dosage is: Adults: intramuscular injection, 600 mg per day, divided into two times; or intravenous drip, 600 mg-1g each time, 1-2 times a day. In case of severe infection, the dose can be increased according to the condition. Children: Calculated by body weight, 10-20 mg per kilogram of body weight per day, divided into 2-3 times of intramuscular injection or intravenous drip. |
Adverse reactions: | Possible adverse reactions include: Allergic reactions: such as rash, itching, urticaria, anaphylactic shock, etc. Digestive system reactions: such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, pseudomembranous colitis Abnormal liver function: elevated liver function indicators may occur Local reactions: redness, swelling and pain may occur at the injection site |

Precautions: | Long-term use may cause secondary infection and requires close observation.
