| Pharmacological action | Sulfonamide antibacterial drug. It interferes with the folic acid metabolism of bacteria and protozoa by competitively inhibiting dihydrofolate synthase, hindering the synthesis of their nucleic acids and proteins, thereby inhibiting their growth and reproduction. It is effective against avian coccidia (such as Eimeria coccidia) and certain bacterial infections, and has a strong anticoccidial effect. |
| Indications | It is used to prevent and treat avian coccidiosis, such as chicken cecal coccidiosis, small intestinal coccidiosis, and bacterial infections secondary to coccidiosis. It is also suitable for the prevention and treatment of rabbit coccidiosis. |
