Pharmacological action | Tylosin tartrate is a macrolide antibiotic that inhibits bacterial protein synthesis. Indications |
Livestock: used to treat respiratory infections, intestinal infections, etc. in pigs, cattle, sheep, and other animals. Poultry: used to treat respiratory tract infections, gastroenteritis, etc. in chickens, ducks and other poultry. Others: can also be used to treat bacterial infections in some pets. |
Usage and dosage | Pigs: Oral, 10-15 mg per kilogram of body weight, twice a day, for 5-7 consecutive days. Cattle and sheep: Oral, 10-15 mg per kilogram of body weight, once a day, for 5-7 consecutive days. Poultry: 10-15 mg per kilogram of body weight, once a day, for 3-5 consecutive days. |
