Pharmacological action | Tylosin is a macrolide antibiotic that mainly binds to the 50S subunit of bacterial ribosomes and inhibits bacterial protein synthesis, thereby exerting its antibacterial effect. It is effective against a variety of Gram-positive bacteria and some Gram-negative bacteria, especially Gram-positive bacteria such as Streptococcus, Staphylococcus, Actinomycetes, etc. |
Usage and Dosage | Intramuscular injection: usually calculated by body weight, 10-20 mg per kilogram of body weight, once or twice a day, for 3-5 days.
